{Alexander Fox}
{Age: 16/ grade 10}
{Picture of OC or thorough physical description:
Both twins have wild red hair, Alexander’s is more of a natural red and has not been cut in a while and tends to fall in front of his vision, and dark brown eyes on their oval shaped faces and thin noses. Both of the twins are thin and tall for their age, Alexander isn’t exactly strong but he’s not weak either so he does have some meat on his bones. Oval shaped face and thin nose,}

{Quote: “You can always change your fate.”
{Special Talent/skill inherited from parents: Kind but sometimes naïve, both are quite athletic and sneaky when need be, both are also quite loyal and Alexander doesn’t believe that everything is black and white.}
{History: Alexander and Alexis were found by their adoptive parents abandoned in a field in a very small American country town where the twins have lived ever since. The Fox’s adopted the twins when they already had three kids, but they always wanted a big family and Alexander and his sister didn’t seem like to much trouble at first.
But then things got slightly more challenging as Marie and Frank had two more sons and a daughter and now with 8 kids they found that they had less time for the twins, which suited them fine. They spent most of their time out in the forest and on the family’s farm; they preferred to be in the company of one another than with other kids their age. But growing up in a small town has its advantages; the twins did have friends but not many. But Alexander did make one good friend how was able to pull him away from his twin, which helped him discover how smart he was.
Alexander found it exceedingly easy to learn new things at school and absorbed things like a sponge, but as he got smarter and excelled in academics he found that Alexis had not. He tried his best to help his twin but she started to hate school altogether and then stopped showing up at all, which troubled him but didn’t stop him from learning. Once he started learning about space and other planets he found himself wanting to learn so much more than his small school could offer. With the issue of Alexis still tugging at him, he decided to leave the studies on space for now and try and help his twin and when their parents supplied the twins with a phone each they were able to keep in contact and Alexander was able to tutor Alexis in the woods where she could think properly and her grades slowly improved.
When their over worked mother and father saw the letter form a private school they greatly urged Alexander and Alexis to say yes and go, making sure that they would pay for everything they could to get her there. Alexander was thrilled and said yes immediately, Alexis was not so willing. Only Alexander read the letter since Alexis was busy being forced to pack and get on a plane and their parents were busy moving her along. So only Alexander read about whom their real parents are and has been trying to get Alexis to understand. Surprisingly enough she accepted the idea, saying she never felt like she did fit in with the other kids. Alexander is still finding it hard to believe though.}

{Fun Facts – Alexander and his twin sister Alexis are often called double A, like the battery, because they are always together and are both never seem to run out of energy. But Alexander prefers to be called Xan or Alex.
-Alexander is extremely smart, or well he would be if he stopped helping Alexis get the bare minimum and focused on his own studies.
-Alexander has a small fascination of space and planets, he wonders how the solar system works and how big it is and oh so many questions. But he has tried to hide this from Alexis because she is so close to the earth itself she doesn’t want to see past it or even know or learn about it.
-Alexander has a small fear of the dark and has claustrophobia. Small dark places spell death}
{Sample Post:
Alexander found himself reading again, the flight was LONG and he was getting bored. Alexis sitting beside him hadn’t let go of her armrests since their adoptive parents had forced her into the seat, he sighed and went back to his book. It was a book on space, and he knew that once Alexis spied the cover he was dead meat. But she seemed slightly out of commission at this point so he allowed himself to read on in silence, he did check his phone ever so often to see if his old friend was going to text him but so far nothing.
“You excited Lex?” Alexander finally asked snapping his book shut, he might as well coax some words out of her before they would land in California. Alexis shook her head at his question and he gave her a look, “Well I am, and you should be too! I hear the place we’re going to has TONS of space outside, and lots of secret tunnels. You’ll be right at home.” Alexander said in hopes of coaxing some words out of her but nothing, Alexis had her eyes shut tight and her nails were digging into the seat. Alexander couldn’t think for the life of him why Alexis seemed so…well…not Alexis. She hadn’t complained or tried to escape since they got on the plane, this was totally out of character for his twin. “What’s wrong Lex?” Alexander finally asked hoping to get a decent answer out of her. He didn’t want to Alexis to be like this for the entire flight if something was bothering her.}

But growing up in a small town has its advantages; the twins did have friends but not many. Alexis found it was easier to entertain herself in the woods than make friends and never actually had any friends; this was also because she did not pick up on the book smarts that her brother did.
Alexis then gained an attitude and refused to listen to teachers and started to skip her classes and disappear off into the forest, only Alexander could find her in the end or one of the other family members (usually the older ones) who had to drag her out of a tree and back to civilization.

-Alexis is often jealous of her brother because he is quite smart and she knows he holds himself back because the twins don’t like being separated. Alexis hates herself for not being book smart like her brother.
-Alexis knows a fair bit about nature though and could survive on her own in the forest with no man made resources.
-Alexis is also quite sneaky and likes wandering around places at night and being alone, her sneakiness also means she tends to get caught in odd places and people think she’s a criminal.
-Alexis also has a very odd fear of flying. }
{Sample Post:
Alexis gripped the armrests with all her might, deathly afraid to let go. Her teeth were grinding together and her eyes were glued shut. She was in a plane, in the air. She was going to die. Alexander didn’t seem fazed by the idea of being in the air, in fact when Alexis took a peak he was reading. She couldn’t make out what though for as quickly as she opened her eyes she closed them again. When he asked if she was excited Alexis had to say no, she was not, she wanted to be back at home in her forest. He kept talking to her, trying to get her to answer but she wasn’t willing to let her mouth open for a second, not while she was in the air. Alexis couldn’t wait for the plane to land and for her to be on the ground again, her fear of flying was keeping her frozen in her place.
But when Alexander finally asked what was wrong she had to answer, he had even closed his book and was paying full attention to her, which was a rare occurrence when he got into his book. “I don’t like flying.” Alexis said quickly clamping her mouth shut after the sentence was hastily spat out, her breathing was fast and her eyes were still closed. “I’m terrified.” Alexis admitted and she could hear her twin adjust himself in his seat beside her, she dared to open an eye and saw that he was getting something out of his pocket. Xan passed her a chocolate, which she stuffed into her mouth; Alexis had a weak spot for sugar. She smiled but closed her eyes again, her grip on the seat releasing to some degree and she actually thought that she might survive this. Then the plane hit turbulence and the chocolate was swallowed and her grip tightened again. Nope she was going to die.}
