{Special Talent/skill inherited from parents} Kuziko is great when it comes to hunting and surviving outdoors. He is often fidgety though, thanks to his mother's insanity, although it is often put off as a slight case of ADHD.
{History} Kuzi was brought up with a young couple who lived in Africa, helping the Africans by cleaning, teaching, and bringing over fresh food and water. He was supposedly named after one of his 'father's' close friends, Kuzikimo, who died from a wound infection. It was in African that Kuziko was raised learning to live off the land, to hunt, and to love soccer.
It was when his adoptive mother was found to be pregnant that Kuziko's adoptive father insisted on moving back to America, wanting Kuzi to get a thorough education and his wife to be able to give birth in a cleaner place. So, the three moved back to USA when Kuziko was six years old. His 'father' had them all move to North Carolina, getting a job as a doctor. Kuzi's younger sister was born a few months later, leaving the entire family happy. Although, it was rough for Kuzi, after all, he grew up learning Swahili as his main language, not English, so the transfer was more than difficult. Getting friends was hard enough, knowing so little English, but, most thankfully, his 'parents' got him an a tutor, heightening his English skills.
When Kuziko went into first grade, he joined the soccer team, absolutely loving the sport. During his time in North Carolina, he enveloped himself in the southern hospitality, not earning the accent, but always saying his pleases and thank yous.
Kuziko was a generally good child, always protecting his little sister, always helping his mother, and always acting polite and kind. But it was when he was going into third grade that he was tested and confirmed to have ADHD. This was though on him, bringing his peers to treat him as if he were an alien. During this year, Kuzi grew to be somewhat reserved, always worried about what others thought. When he received the letter to go to California, he jumped at the offer, longing to start over. While his parents were hesitant, they let the boy go, wanting him to be happy.

{Fun Facts}

Kuziko slumped slightly in the back seat of the taxi, watching his mother- No, Mrs. Lloyd - fade from his view. He waved slowly to the fading outline until she had become no more than a distant speck on the horizon, allowing his pale hand to drop back onto his lap. Sighing heavily, Kuzi hoisted his backpack onto his lap, tears picking the corners of his cerulean orbs. He never thought letting go of the Lloyds would be this difficult, after all, they weren't even his real family.
But it felt like they were... That nagging little voice chimed in the back of his head, bringing Kuziko to sniffle. It almost hurt to know that those people weren't even distantly related. "Lions..." He mumbled, shaking his head slowly in slight disbelief. "My parents are lions..." Even now it sounded unreal to the young boy's ears. If Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd hadn't confirmed it, he wouldn't have even believed the letter for a single moment.
It was the distant vibrating of his departure present that snapped Kuzi from his thoughts, drawing his new iPhone from the pocket of his backpack. On the screen, it indicated that he had a new message from Mrs. Lloyd. Underneath her name, read the words, I love you Kuziko, be safe and... Frowning, he tapped the screen, longing to read the rest of the message. Maybe it said that she would come and visit him soon! Maybe it said that she was going to come and get him. "Whatever it is, it can't matter too much..." He mumbled, dropping the phone back into his backpack, only to hear it vibrate again.
Drawing his phone back out, Kuziko stared at the wording, finding that it was another message from Mrs. Lloyd. I shipped your bags there. They should be... Sighing under his breath, he desperately attempted to open the message. After all, if he didn't know where his bags were, he would have anything more than what he had carried in! But Kuzi didn't have any more time to worry about this as he the cab driver opened the slide between the two. "We're here!"
