(OCC: September 2, later in the day after Money Honey. Open to Eleca and Odette)
Eleca smiled giddily to herself as she looked around her half to the room, it was set up nicely now. "Finally, everything's unpacked. Gosh it took long enough" Eleca heaved a sigh and sat down on her bed, her 'collar' catching the almost evening glow from outside and catching her eye. "it took me all day just to unpack?" Eleca sighed and fell back on her bed, "I should've been out making new friends." she mumbled to herself before rolling over and grabbing a few things form her bag and placing them on the bed, the most obvious being a plush version of Thunderbolt. She also had a picture of her actual parents a the toy dog they gave her as a child, which she still cherished with all her heart.
Eleca finally thought about uniform and groaned, "I should've done that today too." Eleca mumbled to herself, she really should've gone out and gotten herself a new uniform for the academy. "Oh well, I guess that's a job for another day." She grabbed up her iPod and immediately started casually singing, not paying attention to the people walking around by the open door of her room. Not that she was expecting anyone to enter.

Odette slunk into the room with her serpent-long body quietly. She ignored the other girl in her room, putting away the only possessions she had right now, her uniforms. She didn't have anything to unpack. When you grew up in an orphanage, you couldn't really expect to own a lot of your own stuff. Still, she didn't take notice of her roommate, even after taking care of her clothes and laying down in her bed. Whether she was being rude or just didn't notice was rather hard to figure.

Eleca didn't hear Odette enter the room but when her song finally came to an end and she sat up, she practically leapt back into the wall from the shock. Eleca took her headphones out and just looked at the girl for a moment, "Uhh, Hello." Eleca said offering the girl a smile, "I'm Eleca Stone." Eleca introduced herself properly and didn't take her eyes of her new roommate, something about her told Eleca that looking away could spell death. In her thoughts she hoped that the girl wasn't the daughter of a villain, because that would mean a whole lot of awkward conversations between them. Not to mention the possibility of fighting with them on a daily basis. But Eleca also quickly decided that if she was a villain's daughter that she would try her best to make her new roommate nice, or at least try not to fight with her.

Odette rolled over to look blankly at her roommate. "Well, what do you know? A roommate. I missed having one of those in the orphanage. Everyone said I was too creepy for it. Not that I really cared either way."
She sat up, still wearing her permastone grin. "So, you're Eleca Stone, then? My name is Odette Johnson. I just finished my school shopping. It's nice of the school to actually buy things for you, rather than hope that the orphanage caretakers will gives you rags that actually fit for once, isn't it?"

Odette's words startled Eleca more then her presence in the room now, 'orphanage?' Eleca thought to herself, and as Odette went on Eleca could only find herself feeling more awkward than before. "Roommates are fun I suppose, I was an only child. Never knew anything different." Eleca said in response and then as Odette introduced herself and talked about the shopping she had just done and was about to smile and say something but her words got cut off as she heard the rest of the sentence.
"Oh. Yeah I guess it is." Eleca said hiding her gaze and fiddling with a piece of her multi toned brown hair, she had been wealthy her whole life, being the adopted daughter of a famous couple had its perks, and that had always been one. Eleca was never short for cash and could buy anything she wanted, but for the first time in her life she realised just how much money she had compared to other people. Eleca had never encountered someone from Odette's upbringing before, and was at a loss for words.

"Well, I guess that's what you deserve, when you're the child of a sea witch. Bad mojo or juju or whatever, I guess. Not that I really mind. I've always enjoyed a bit of solitude myself." Odette sat up, smirking as she remembered what he letter from Disney said. "Still I suppose having a roommate should be fine for now. Not like I have much of a choice."
She laughed harshly, like one unused to laughing, before smirking her usual dark grin. "My apologies, should there be anything I should know about you, before we spend a year with each other. I might have a heart pitch as black, but it's not like I need to go around killing folks for no real reason, you know."

Eleca didn't move as Odette spoke, her laugh put Eleca on edge slightly more than she would've liked and her words were just as scary. But she tried her best to be friendly and smiled at her new roommate, at the mention of a sea witch Eleca's smile vanished but only because she had no idea what Odette meant by that. "Sea witch?" she asked then when Odette continued she smiled again,
"Oh I'm assuming you mean my parent, the real one that is. I'm the daughter of Thunderbolt, you know, the shepherd from 101 Dalmatians, Patch's London adventure." Eleca said smiling proudly at her heritage and showing off her collar to Odette, Eleca didn't quite catch the bit at the end about Odette going around and killing people.

"And here we have another human spawned by a dog. Just dandy." Odette rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Oh, pardon me. I should be more considerate. It's not my fault Disney designed you that way, is it?" She placed a thoughtful finger on her cheek. "Still, it does seem quite difficult to explain, but you can't change it, either way."
She cleared her throat as though about to talk about something of grave importance. "Now, tell me, what was your life like, before winding up here? For you see, I came here out of neccessity? I'm surprised you didn't call the man a quack, as soon as you read about being the child of an animated canine, and thrown the letter away. So why did you come?"

Eleca wanted to say something to Odette as the girl went on about how....well odd it was for Eleca's father to be Thunderbolt. in fact she opened her mouth to say something but it was quickly snapped shut again as the girl continued, Odette mentioned not being able to change who her parents were and Eleca nodded. But stood proud showing her collar and her personality to the best she could, she wanted Odette to know she liked her heritage.
When Odette cleared her throat Eleca paused and listened carefully to the next sentence, Eleca had to pull her gaze away from the thin girl standing before her. Compared to the life Eleca assumed Odette had lived, her life would seem like she was royalty. "Well umm, you see..." Eleca mumbled not really sure how to put her thoughts into words, she cleared her own throat and decided to answer the question as well as she could. "I was at a private performing arts school and when my courses finished there I wanted to continue my studies, and well I got the letter. I finally realised why I was so good at acting, and decided to come to the academy." Eleca explained stopping to take a quick breath, "Plus I fully believe that my father is none other than Thunderbolt."

"Look, sweetheart, the man might work in fairy tales, but for what reason did you have to believe the man? There are a hundred different reasons you could act. Not that I'm calling you a liar, but unless you're planning on starring in 103 dalmatians, it's not like you have a future here, you know. What, you think daddy doggiest is going to rescue you once you graduate from here and go back to Never-Neverland?"
She laughed darkly. "I mean, my parents are both dead. I mean, one went up like a Roman candle and the other was dragged down into the depths of the Dark Realm. I don't even know if I should trust Disney, but, eh, it's worth a shot. Would explain how I can do voodoo."
She sat up rather suddenly, making a complete one-eighty in conversation. "So, do you like dolls?"

Eleca's mouth formed a frown and her eyebrows furrowed together as Odette continued, she opened her mouth and was about to yell at her for bad mouthing her father but quickly shut it again. She took a deep breath and composed herself before continuing, "I believe it because it's the best I've got, the family that I've lived with for as long as I've known aren't the best or most attentive parents." Eleca answered with a sigh, she looked out the door for a moment spacing out just at the thought of being raised by her true father, it would've been...interesting she had to admit.
"I mean what else have you got when you look and act nothing like the people you've lived with for years, then again I was never really around them..." Eleca added trailing off, her mind trailing off with her words. In fact she barely heard Odette when she mentioned the fact that both her parents were dead, or the word voodoo.
But when Odette sat bolt upright Eleca jumped out of fright, Eleca blinked a couple of times at the question. "Oh, well...uh...not really. I mean, I don't mind them as such, but I never really had one growing up." Eleca answered avoiding Odette's gaze for a reason she didn't white understand. "Why?" Eleca asked suddenly curious.

"Well, you know how it goes. You don't grow up with a lot of toys. Dolls are a classic thing for girls to play with. I always wanted my own collection. Something to make up for not having any real friends growing up. I don't really like or trust people a lot, socialble as I am right now." Odette shrugged. "Just a silly little dream, I suppose you could say."

Eleca listened as Odette gave her reasoning for the dolls comment, it made perfect sense to her. Eleca had been alone most of her life at home and had often played with her huge array of stuffed animals, but that was usually because the maid had other things to do than play with her. "I don't think it's a silly dream, I mean compared to my dream of meeting my father yours makes logical sense." Eleca then sighed and looked at her feet, "And could actually happen." she added and frowned at her sneakers.

"You have a curious reaction. Why do you stare at your feet so gloomily, when you are trying to sound positive?" Odette brushed a strand of hair from her face, her smile more malicious than normal. "It is almost as though I triggered some form of bad memory?" She raised an eyebrow. "Or is it the fact that I'm the daughter of villains and may slit your throat in the middle of the night, if I considered you a threat?"
She laughed darkly. "Of course, I am only joking, when I say that. It wouldn't be very polite of me to kill you, when we've only just met. Besides, there'd be no real gain in it for me, would there? No. I'm sure you're safe."
She kicked up on her bed. "So, are you college age like myself? Or a high schooler? If you're in college, what are you majoring in?"
