(OCC: September 2nd after Money Honey but before Spoonful of sugar, Open to Alexis and Slenna)
Alexis didn't unpack, she didn't even want to be here, if it was all up to her she would still have been out in the forest back home with her 'family'. Despite her brother's obvious joy for the place Alexis openly despised it, she wanted to be outdoors, away form the books and teachers and classrooms. So getting herself as close to nature as she was allowed to perched herself by the window and stared out into the garden, it looked to empty and peaceful. And there were so many trees, she knew she was going to have some fun with that at some point. Climbing trees was something she had done since early childhood.
The silence of the room meant that she could hear the voices of the other girls getting settled in with their new roommates, this was another reason Alexis was perched by the window. Easy enough to climb out and escape. Alexis had only ever had Alexander as a roommate and to be this far away from him was weird and unnatural, no one had ever dared split them apart until now. And she was going to take out her slight frustrations on whoever came through the door, because they were, in her mind, going to take Alexander's place.

This was it. Sienna had feared this for a while now; it was time to meet her roommate. The only thing she could hope for was that she'd get along with her roommate, or at least that they’d leave each other be; Sienna didn't really have many good memories about having a roommate. She could remember that one time at a summer camp back home when she had had two roommates – the girls were older than her and they both made fun of Sienna in their spare time. And Sienna now feared that her new roommate here at the academy would be like that, and she’d have to put up with teasing the whole time she was here. Or maybe it could be worse. Theories after theories, each more terrifying than the other, were spinning through Sienna’s head as she silently knocked on the door of her new room – just in case if her roommate was there so Sienna wouldn’t scare her or anything – and cautiously stepped inside.
The first thing she saw was Alexis, perched by the window. Sienna put her bags down at the end of one of the beds and closed the door behind her. She wondered was she supposed to say something now, maybe introduce herself.
“U-um, hi. I-I’m Sienna Bell, um, your new r-roommate. Apparently”, she squeaked and just stood there a bit awkwardly, glancing at the red headed girl shyly.

Alexis heard the girl enter the room but didn't move, she assumed that it was just someone checking up on her, or wandering into the wrong room. But when she heard the bags being put down she knew this was the arrival of her new roommate, and her thoughts were confirmed as she introduced herself to Alexis. Alexis turned to face her with her dark eyes blazing slightly from irritation, but upon hearing the girl squeak out her name she paused and allowed herself to calm down slightly. "Uh yeah I guess," Alexis said back to the girl getting up confidently and brushing the dust off her clothes, then she turned to face Slenna. "I'm Alexis Fox, nice to meet you Slenna." Alexis said genuinely because she was sure if she didn't say something kind the girl might fall over from shock, she looked shy and nervous. Also she was sure word of her encounters would eventually get to her brother, who would defiantly not be happy to hear that she had not been trying to make friends.
"Who are your parents supposed to be?" Alexis asked deciding to break the ice between them quickly, she knew that Slenna was the kind of girl who would probably stay dead silent unless someone spoke to them first. "Mine are Tod and Vixey, same as my twin brother Alexander." Alexis rambled on confidently and started smiling, "Anyway..." Alexis said smiling at Slenna, she had let herself ramble on for a little too long. She hoped Slenna would still answer the question.

Sienna stared at her new roommate nervously, believing this wasn't going to end well. She shuffled her foot against the floor and let her eyes wander around through the room, until she finally focused her attention on Alexis when the red head spoke. Sienna coughed once and fixed her stare on her shoes. Alexis seemed pretty nice, so Sienna managed to mumble some sort of an answer. "I-it's nice to meet you too." She wasn't just being polite, she was being pretty sincere, since she was utterly relieved that her roommate turned out being as nice as Alexis.
The question about Sienna's parents - well, the supposed ones, anyway - made the shy girl look up at Alexis again. Sienna listened to her new roommates words carefully and found them quite interesting. A red head with a surname 'Fox', the daughter of Tod and Vixey? What a coincidence! Or was it? Sienna didn't even know what to believe anymore. Also, Alexis' mention of a twin brother caught Sienna's ear too. Sienna figured she'd probably meet this Alexander sooner or later, with him being Alexis' twin and all, so Sienna hoped the boy would be as nice as Alexis seemed.
"...Uh. Well, um, m-my parents... Um, Belle and the Beast", Sienna finally answered to Alexis question and a small smile appeared on her face as she saw Alexis smiling too. "Do you... um, know anyone in here? Well, except your brother, obviously... I, myself, don't know anyone, at least not yet..."

Alexis smiled as Slenna talked, she knew the girl was shy and decided very quickly that becoming friends with her wouldn't be a bad thing. As Slenna went on Alexis listened intently, her parents were Belle and Beast that was pretty cool. It was also one of the only other Disney movies she had seen in her lifetime that she could sit through, she liked the idea behind it. "Belle and Beast huh, that's cool." Alexis couldn't help but smile confidently at the girl before her, as Slenna went on to mention the fact that she didn't know anyone Alexis' smile did fade a bit. "Well me and my brother did meet a few people down in the mall, but I prefer to avoid people. I'm more of a stay out in nature and spend my whole day in a tree rather than talk to people kind of person, much to my brother's dislike." Alexis answered as best she could and almost found herself wanting to have Alexander here, he was even more confident and much better with people than she was. Alexis knew that her twin would do so well in this situation, but she thought she was doing a pretty good job of trying to make a new friend so far. Since the girl had neither run away nor had she insulted her yet, this was an obvious step in the right direction from Alexis' point of view.

Sienna remained silent and dropped her gaze to her shoes once again, listening to Alexis' talk about being more of a 'nature person' than a 'people person'. It fascinated the girl a bit, back in New York she didn't really know many people who would rather go to the woods than to the mall. The thought of this red head, the supposed daughter of two foxes, being an outdoor person was interesting. Something inherited from her parents, perhaps? Well, maybe it shouldn't be a surprise, Sienna thought. She herself did like reading, much like Belle, after all.
"I'm not really much of a people person, either. As you've maybe noticed..." Sienna muttered and shuffled her foot against the floor while looking back up at Alexis. "Um, sorry. I-I don't really mean to be this... uh, quiet, or, eh, whatever, but i-it's just that I, um... Yeah, I'm not really used to have much attention on me, sorry." A sheepish smile appeared on the shy girl's face and she chuckled, turning a bit red. She sounded so stupid. "And now I'm making a fool out of myself. Great..."

Alexis smiled and accepted the silence, she had never met anyone quite this quiet. But she already knew how to act around Slenna, she tried not to get to mad and so far that wasn't a problem. Slenna was kind and quiet, two things that Alexis liked in people. "I kind of noticed." Alexis said without thinking when Slenna muttered something about not being much of a people person, Alexis shrugged. "Being a people person is overrated anyway." she added turning back for the window and walking over to it.
As she sat back on the window sill and turned back to Slenna, the girl was stumbling through a sentence. Alexis listened carefully so she wouldn't miss a word, "That's alright, I'm not all that comfortable with attention either." But I seem to attract it like there's no tomorrow. Alexis almost added but she didn't, it was a comment that didn't need to be said.
As Slenna let out a nervous laugh Alexis had to smile, "You aren't really making a fool of yourself, you're talking to someone who has pretty much lived as far away from society as she could get." Alexis said hoping to help Slenna gain some confidence, "Which brings a thought to mind, where are you from?" Alexis asked looking the girl over again, she could tell just by looking at Slenna that she had not grown up with nature around her like Alexis had. It was most likely she had grown up in a city, a place that Alexis would never step foot in unless she had to.

When Alexis moved back to the window, Sienna hesitated a bit. Should she say where she was or should she move too? She couldn't stay standing here the whole day, anyway, so she moved to sit on one of the beds. Sienna's bags were piled at the end of the bed and she lifted one of them onto her lap. A small, brown and pretty ragged shoulder bag had a small, plastic, glittery rose keychain hanging from its zipper. Sienna had bought the rose after finding out about her parents; it symbolized the Beast's magic rose in Sienna's mind, and reminded her of her heritage (not like she could forget it, really).
The shy girl fiddled with the small rose and realized she'd been quiet for a quite some time. She glanced towards the red head and smiled a bit. Alexis was nice, really nice, she didn't seem to have a problem with her new, socially awkward roommate. When Alexis mentioned that she'd lived as far away from society she could, Sienna wondered where the girl was from, and she also wondered how it would feel like, living somewhere peaceful.
"I... I'm from New York", Sienna scratched her neck and smiled a bit. She looked at Alexis with a curious look. "Where are you from, then? I-I mean, you said you lived pretty 'far away from society'..."

Alexis did notice the awkward silence but ignored it really, she didn't mind the silence. She almost thought Slenna had left the room when suddenly the girl answered her question, Alexis was glad she answered but she almost scowled and snapped at Slenna. "New York." she stated, the word tasting sour on her tongue, she hated the city and no city gets bigger than New York. Alexis shook her head to stop herself from spazzing out and yelling at Slenna about how bad living in a huge city is terrible, she instead focussed on the next question that Slenna asked.
"Oh, I lived in a small town in Michigan, near a forest, like right near a forest. You couldn't find us on a map we were that small of a town. As it was with my and Alexander there was only abbot 32 kids our age in the town." Alexis answered and explained to Slenna, she smiled to herself at how small the town was. "It was a good place, no one could bother me when I disappeared into the forest. It was a place I knew better than anyone." Alexis went on, getting lost for a moment in her own thoughts.

Sienna winced at Alexis' tone at first, but when she didn't continue talking about Sienna's home town, the shy girl decided to ignore it completely. Besides, Alexis started telling where she grew up, and Sienna found it quite interesting. She could actually imagine Alexis in a forest, sitting on a tree branch rather than on a window sill she was sitting on now. Alexis seemed, in Sienna's eyes, free.
"O-oh, that... that sounds so nice...", she whispered and tried to imagine how it would feel like to live in a place like that. She couldn't really grasp the feeling, since she had lived her whole life in a big city, but she came to a conclusion from Alexis' smile; it must've been wonderful. Sienna wished she could've lived near a forest, among animals and trees rather than in the middle of a busy city full of people and cars. But maybe she wouldn't have what it takes to live in a place like that.
"I bet you loved to live there... I-is it a horrible change to come in here? I mean, uh, do you like it here? In the academy?" Sienna asked, but fell silent soon. She scratched her neck awkwardly and stared at her shoes. "Um, you-you don't have to answer, of course, if you don't want to."

Alexis had zoned out for a moment, looking out the window at the nature below. When Slenna talked again Alexis turned her head pulling her gaze away from outside and back to the girl, "Hmm?" she asked then snapped back into a sense of awake and smiled at the thought of her forest, "it was wonderful, I spent as much time as I could in the forest from the moment I could walk." Alexis smiled as she rambled, she would've stopped but Slenna seemed willing to listen, another odd occurrence but Alexis brushed aside for now.
Alexis' smile disappeared when Slenna asked a question that reminded her that she was in fact, here inside the academy and not out in her forest. "I loved it because it was what I knew, I know the forest, every inch of it. The animals, the plants, which trees were best for climbing, where to find the best food." Alexis then sighed and frowned slightly, "Where as here..." she paused and looked out the window again, this time looking past the garden to a man made fence and then to the many houses around. "Here I know nothing." Alexis mumbled, and then she decided to answer the true question. "I don't really like it here no, I'm not really a people person, mostly because they pick on my for my lack of...uh....well smarts. But, I guess, as long as there is a garden with trees I can spend my time in instead of going to class, and my brother is happy. Then I'll deal with it." she finally stated looking back to Slenna.
