{Charlene “Charlie” Bella}
{Age/School Year: 15/High School Sophomore}
{“What I wouldn't give for a world without fences.."}
{Special Talent/skill inherited from parents: Quick witted and street smart, Charlie’s inherited good things like the former from her mother and her father’s impatience.}
{History: In a large state run foster home in the Bronx since she was a baby, Charlie quickly became the alpha female among the children when she was not adopted into a family. The girl didn’t mind, she had a pretty easy going personality, despite deep inside terribly wanting a home. The girl kept it deep inside to stay strong for her foster siblings who one by one started to file out. She kept herself tough for them, breaking up fights, keeping bullies at bay and breaking the older foster kids, showing them who was the boss. But Charlie spent her time dreaming of a home for herself.
As her age grew and grew the chances she would be adopted grew thinner and thinner. Charlie pretty much gave up. Despite enjoying her life at the foster home, as the foster parents were in no way cruel and they had everything they needed, Charlie still wanted that place and those parents to call her own.
Ironically, the letter was brought while Charlie was recording herself singing “He’s a Tramp” on her Mac. Her foster mother agreed to send her to California and Charlie packed up and left. Suspicious about her real parents, but pretty much buying who they were, Charlie set out to put herself on top again. }
{Adoptive Family – Carrie Notte (foster mother,) Richard Notte (foster father,) Numerous foster siblings}
{Likes – Italian Food, Dogs, t-shirts, public transportation, the outdoors, doing laundry}
{Dislikes – Cats, driving, being bored, new car smell, bullies}
{Fun Facts:
-Despite being the children of two of the sequel characters, Charlie MUCH prefers the original Lady and the Tramp to the second one. In fact she’s been quoted as saying “Scamp annoys me.”
-Charlie HATES being called Charlene. In fact be prepared for a serious bitch fit if you call her that.
-Charlie, like her mother, actually had a few previous families try and adopt her. They’d either find a younger child or find Charlie unsuitable.
-Charlie REALLY hates cats. One scratched her as a kid and now she can’t stand them.
-Charlie hates dressing girly and will go out of her way not to wear dresses and skirts. Her wardrobe consists mostly of t-shirts with stuff on them and jeans with holes ripped in them. }
{Raising an unconcerned eyebrow, the sarcastic girl just stared up into the teacher’s face. She looked cool as a cucumber, not even really worrying about what this woman had to say about or to her. She stretched, moving herself back in her chair. “Miss Charlene Bella.”
“It’s CHARLIE,” Charlie hissed, “I said that to you at the beginning of class.” The teacher rolled her eyes and stopped staring her down. Charlie breathed outwards in a casual attitude. Draping her arm over her chair the girl, dipped her head forward and just stared blankly at the blackboard, zoning out what the woman had to say. “What I wouldn’t give for a world without fences,” she mumbled inaudibly to herself, checking the clock briefly. She was normally not this defiant but the long speeches, the annoying hum of the teacher’s voice and the ticking clock which would allow her to go explore the school were making her itch to get free.}
